Cloud Castle Lishui: A Poetic Blend of Architecture and Nature

Guanyu Lou's Award-Winning Landscape Design Transforms Urban Space

Guanyu Lou's design is inspired by the quest for a poetic way of life where architecture is closer to nature. The design's uniqueness lies in its atmospheric and natural landscape space, intertwined with various landscape elements and the original architectural form. The entrance image, a 300-meter green corridor, and a strategically placed parking space attract people flow. The demonstration area's front space is combined with the site's original architecture to create a visually pleasing landscape effect, while the building's roof garden offers a stunning view of the landscape.

The design is realized using the site's original ecological conditions and natural materials. PC artificial imitation stone is used for paving, reducing nature's pressure. The landscape wall's facade is made of imitation marble tiles, blending with the building materials and integrating better with the natural environment. The waterscape is designed with a low-carbon and environmentally friendly concept, with underground pipes installed for rainwater collection and recycling.

The project covers a total area of 7828 square meters, with 1654.85 square meters of hard paving and 1020 square meters of soft greenery within the red line. Outside the red line, there are 2809 square meters of hard paving and 2732 square meters of soft greenery. The ground paving is artificial pc imitation stone, and the scenic wall's exterior facade is imitation marble.

The design's interaction is enhanced by the location of the Lishui model area in the city's emerging part. Surrounded by mountains and rivers, with convenient transportation and complete planning of supporting settings, the landscape quality based on the life pursuit of young clientele enhances the sense of interaction with nature. It implants a unique future lifestyle, creates a unique living space, and creates an impressive and stylish modern living environment.

The project started in October 2020 and finished in April 2021, located in Lishui, Zhejiang Province, China. The design faced the challenge of creating a landscape space and mood, eliminating the boundary between the building and the landscape for better integration with nature. The project focuses on space creation, intending to achieve organic unity between architecture and landscape space. The design of the participatory landscape allows people to get closer to nature, satisfying residents' spiritual pursuit.

The intellectual property of the design is owned by HANGZHOU JUMU LANDSCAPE DESIGN CO.,LTD. The design was awarded Golden in A' Landscape Planning and Garden Design Award in 2022, a testament to its outstanding and trendsetting creation that reflects the designer's prodigy and wisdom. It is a venerated product and bright idea that advances art, science, design, and technology, embodying extraordinary excellence and significantly impacting the world with its desirable characteristics.
